From Sipalay to Boracay in 5 Days

This is one of my most memorable vacation ever ( Thank you Sherwin Acebuche ,Tim Driver and Adella Barrett ) It wasn’t really planned since that my objective was just to get the laptop Sherwin bought for me. The day after their family reunion I was eating lunch with manang linda and Sherwin came to me asking me where is the best place to go. Since that it was a very boring day Tita Adella suggested why not go to Sipalay and after an hour we were in Kabankalan already, waiting for a bus to Hinobaan. The trip should last for 3 hours only, but due to road repairs it took as 4 hours to reach our destination. The Nataasan Resort Located in Brgy 4 Sipalay

I thought that Sherwin was going to get a hotel room for the 3 of us which cost P1900 per night but to my surprise he took the bungalow overlooking the sea which cost P3500 for a night. The bungalow is cool actually it has its own veranda where we can sit and enjoy the view.

Because we are all exhausted and tired, we went to the restaurant to eat but they don’t have what Sherwin was looking for. and so we decided to go down ( Nataasan is located at the top of the a cliff ) to look for food at the other resorts ( there are 4 resorts not including Nataasan), and we were able to find one in Artistic Diving Resort. After we’re done eating dinner we ordered beer and sat at the beach decks and enjoyed the night view and what else took pictures. After an hour we decided to go back to Natasaan and swim in the swimming pool and after that we had a few bottles of beer, chat a little at the veranda and sleep.

Sunrise, and i was the one to get up first, I went to the veranda and marvel the panoramic view of the sea and after an hour Tim and Sherwin were already up. We went down again and head to Artistic Diving for breakfast, and after breakfast we were planning to swim in the beach but since that it was low tide and there were lots of seaweeds we decided to go back to Nataasan and enjoy the pool instead. We checked out at 2pm ( good thing the caretaker allowed us to stay in our room for 2 hours we were supposed to check out at 12 noon) and went to Sipalay proper Waiting for the bus because we need to be in Himamaylan as early as we could for we will go to Boracay The next day.

Still tired and exhausted not to mention having just 3 hours of sleep, we woke up at 2:30am and drove all the way to Bredco to catch the first Oceanjet to Iloilo, at 7:30 am we arrived in Muelle Loney and hired a van to Caticlan, we had lunch somewhere in Capiz and it took at least 7 hours before we reach Caticlan port. We then rode a boat ride from Caticlan to Boracay and look for our Hotel ( We checked in at Isla Gecko while Sherwin, Tim and Tita Adella checked in at La Carmela de Boracay ). After finding our hotels we meet up at D’Mall to eat and after done eating in Andok’s most of us went back to the Hotel while me and the other decided to take a dip in the beach. Night came and we meet up again for dinner by the beach and my god the price really is heavenly expensive, the food was nice. After dinner we decided to head back to our hotel because we need to wake up early for Island Hopping. Since that i cannot sleep. I went out and look for a store to buy beer and head back to the Hotel and sleep.

We woke up at 9am and I went straight to the hotel restaurant for my complimentary breakfast then we meet up again in front of D District Hotel for our Island hopping tour. First we did an hour of snorkeling and after that we went to Crystal Cove, the island is a beauty, there is a P200 entrance fee per person. We toured the island, we went to the island’s Coral Museum, the two coves and bird watch. We had our lunch on the island, i think the lunch was part of the tour. We had grilled tuna, pork and mangoes for dessert. After the Island Hopping we went back to Station 2 and and what else we need to do? Enjoy the beach!!!!

Night came and we went out again for dinner we went to one of the best restaurant in Boracay and they ordered Different types of international food ( American, Indian, British etc). and after that we took a stroll in D’Mall. Its is really a nice place for shoppers, there are lots of stores that offers low prices. After we’re done, I, Sherwin Jodie Mae and Tim went out for bar hopping, although we only went in one Bar ( Tattoo Underground ) it was fun because there lots of foreigner in that bar as well. We Had almost 5 bottles of beer and stayed there until 3 am. and head back to our hotel because we have to sleep to wait until 9am to depart from Boracay and go home.
